Results of Lead/Copper sampling Sept 2017 (all good)

Hi All...

Just sending out the results of the water sampling you helped with last September.   As required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, we got samples from 5 houses on our systems, and yours was one of them.   All 5 were well below any levels of concern so our system is good.

A summary of the results is attached, as well as individual notices specific to each of the 5 houses sampled.    The individual level for your house is required by TCEQ to be sent to you.  The attachment fulfills this requirement.

I was supposed to get these results to you 30 days after they came to me, but I didn't notice that.  They fussed at me recently because I had not sent them and then let them know. My apologies for the late notification.

LEAD:  Lead is the one they really focus on, and is the focus of the attached notification.  Any level above 0.015 mg/L requires some action.  Ours were well below that level.

COPPER: Even though the attached notification doesn't address copper, the testing did include it.  Per the EPA, any level above 1.3 mg/L requires some action.  Again, ours were well below that level.

Thanks again for your help and cooperation in this sampling.  We only have to do this testing every 3 years, so we should be good for a while.
